About This Opportunity

We're seeking a Business Development Manager who understands the Polish defense procurement landscape and has experience positioning advanced UAV solutions to government agencies.
This role is based in Poland and involves leading business development initiatives, preparing government tenders, and managing strategic partnerships within the defense ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within Poland's defense sector, focusing on unmanned aerial systems and government procurement channels
- Lead preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and tenders in compliance with defense industry regulations
- Develop go-to-market strategies to position our client's solutions effectively with Polish defense stakeholders
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and procurement frameworks to uncover strategic opportunities
- Collaborate with engineering, legal, and finance teams to align proposals with business objectives
- Negotiate and manage contracts, securing favorable terms and ensuring successful execution
- Represent the organization at industry events and key stakeholder meetings internationally
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or procurement within the defense sector
- Proven experience in the drone or UAV industry strongly preferred
- Direct experience with government tenders, defense procurement processes, or defense technology sales
- Deep knowledge of the Polish defense ecosystem, including procurement frameworks and key stakeholders
- Native Polish speaker with excellent English communication skills
- Background in engineering, business, or related field
- Extroverted personality with exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Willingness to travel internationally to represent the organization
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in the defense industry
