About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential game development studio as they build their 2026 talent pipeline for Senior Software Engineers. Our client is seeking experienced C++ engineers who can contribute to high-quality PC game development in a remote environment across Europe.
Responsibilities
- Work within C++ codebases on custom engines or Unreal Engine 5
- Maintain and develop gameplay features and associated tooling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, artists, and other engineers
- Debug, profile, and optimize code to ensure performance standards
- Contribute as a generalist programmer rather than in a narrow specialization
What We're Looking For
- Proven senior-level games programming experience with C++ and Unreal Engine 5
- Recent professional experience in the video game industry
- Strong track record working collaboratively in team environments
- B2 English proficiency (conversational and written)
- Experience with strategy games as a player or developer is a plus
- Currently located in Europe (EU/UK time zones required)
- Willingness to complete a technical assessment
- Available for remote B2B contract arrangements
