About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential automation and logistics systems organization in Suhl, Germany. Our client designs and manufactures advanced automated storage solutions and is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their growing technical team.

This role requires 100% travel readiness with typical assignments lasting two to three weeks. You'll work independently in your region and internationally, installing complex systems at customer sites worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical assembly and installation of automated systems at national and international customer locations
• Independent execution of system commissioning and start-up procedures
• Support with steel structure positioning and component integration
• Perform service and maintenance assignments for the global customer base
• Work on diverse projects with customized customer requirements
• Travel extensively (100% travel requirement with assignments averaging two to three weeks)

What We're Looking For

• Successfully completed technical vocational training (e.g., mechatronics, electronics)
• Entry-level candidates or those with experience in a related technical field
• Strong communication skills in German and English (required)
• French language skills are desirable
• Independent working style with strong team collaboration abilities
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for extended periods
