Legal Consultant – M&A

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential Fortune 500 organization in the search for a Legal Consultant with strong M&A experience to support their operations in Singapore. Our client operates across multiple jurisdictions and requires hands-on legal expertise to navigate complex cross-border transactions and commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal and regulatory guidance on cross-border transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Lead and support mergers and acquisitions, investments, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions
• Conduct legal due diligence and draft, negotiate, and execute transaction documents
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial and technology agreements
• Support fintech and technology-related matters including data protection compliance
• Manage external counsel where specialist legal advice is required

What We're Looking For

• Approximately 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in advising or supporting M&A transactions
• Demonstrated expertise in cross-border deal structures and transaction documentation
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills for commercial and technology agreements
• Knowledge of fintech and data protection matters is highly valued
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and external counsel effectively
• Based in or willing to relocate to Singapore
