Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential renewable energy organization seeking a Project Manager to lead rooftop photovoltaic installations combined with battery storage and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
In this role, you will:
- Take technical ownership of rooftop solar projects (typically >500 kWp) from planning through construction to customer handover and internal service transfer
- Manage complete project delivery including technical planning, construction oversight, and quality assurance
- Coordinate all health, safety, and workplace protection measures across project sites
- Ensure projects meet timeline, quality, and cost objectives with full documentation
- Optimize and control project budgets and expenditures
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project lifecycles
- Present project status and progress to internal teams and external stakeholders
What We're Looking For
- Completed degree in engineering (electrical, energy, or similar) or comparable technical qualification with relevant experience
- Proven experience as a project manager in plant construction; hands-on knowledge with commercial rooftop solar systems preferred
- Understanding of grid integration for renewable energy systems
- Track record with EPC contracts, customer acceptance procedures, system certifications, and commissioning of solar installations
- Strong communication skills with experience coordinating internal and external stakeholders
- Self-directed, structured, and accountable working style
- Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
- Valid Class B driver's license
