Solutions Engineer

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization in their search for a Solutions Engineer based in Colombia. Our client is a global leader in cyber protection solutions, and we're seeking a talented professional ready to step up into their next role within the cybersecurity and AI space.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solutions Engineer with 4-5 years of experience who wants to advance their career working with cutting-edge protection technologies serving MSPs, partners, and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams and business partners to design and articulate cybersecurity solutions for service providers, partners, and end customers
• Participate as a technology expert in client meetings, conduct product demonstrations, and support the full sales cycle
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to coordinate pre-sales and post-sales activities
• Analyze business requirements, market strategies, and policies relating to data protection and cyber security
• Manage strategic accounts in collaboration with Account Managers to develop and influence sales strategies
• Facilitate customer evaluations and proof of concept activities
• Perform technical troubleshooting and secure technical wins during the pre-sales process
• Position solutions that address specific customer business problems and serve as a trusted technical advisor
• Conduct hands-on demonstrations and knowledge transfer sessions
• Gather technical requirements, develop cost-effective solutions, and present proposals to prospects
• Develop comprehensive responses to RFIs and RFPs
• Assist in integrating MSP RMM platforms and work closely with cross-functional teams
• Provide customer and market feedback to product and engineering teams

What We're Looking For

• At least 4-5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering or similar technical pre-sales role
• Experience with cloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Strong background in backup, disaster recovery, and storage solution design
• Security experience in one or more areas: Antivirus/Ransomware Protection, EDR/MDR/XDR, Email Security, or Network Security
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (Linux or other operating systems beneficial)
• Ability to articulate technical and business value propositions effectively
• Experience in customer and sales opportunity management practices
• Excellent listening skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and strong team collaboration
• High level of discipline, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines in fast-paced environments
• Articulate, persuasive, and polished oral and written communication skills
• Fluent in English (CV must be submitted in English)
• Ability to travel, including internationally
