Bilingual Financial Customer Service Representative

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Bilingual Financial Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. This is a fully remote position within the United States, offering an excellent entry point into the financial services industry with comprehensive paid training and ongoing professional development.

Our client operates a high-volume call center supporting retirement plan participants and plan sponsors. You'll help customers navigate their retirement savings accounts, process transactions, and provide education—without cold calling or sales pressure.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone inquiries regarding retirement plans from participants, employers, and third-party specialists
• Provide exceptional customer service for retirement savings accounts through inbound calls
• Educate customers on their retirement plan options and account features
• Communicate critical plan updates and policy changes to customers
• Process transactions including contribution changes, loans, withdrawals, and general account updates
• Work collaboratively with team members to resolve customer inquiries efficiently
• Maintain attention to detail while applying financial industry policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)
• Associate's degree or higher PLUS at least one year of customer service experience, OR two or more years of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, food service, teaching, military, banking, or related fields)
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, outside traditional business hours, with occasional Saturday shifts
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on business requirements
• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (our client cannot sponsor employment visas, including CPT/OPT)

Technical Requirements for Remote Work:

• Reliable high-speed internet: minimum 50Mbps download and 10Mbps upload
• Wired Ethernet connection (WiFi is not sufficient)
• Dedicated, quiet workspace free from interruptions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous financial services or call center experience
• Passion for delivering quality customer service
• Strong communication skills with ability to adapt style for diverse customers
• Detail-oriented with strong learning ability

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $37,800 - $51,975 annually, with actual compensation determined by geographic location, experience, education, and skill level. This role is eligible for a bonus program. Our client offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with up to 6% company match, tuition reimbursement up to $5,250/year, generous PTO, paid parental leave, and 16 hours of paid volunteer time annually.
