About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential client in the financial technology sector who is building a greenfield electronic trading platform on AWS and modern.NET technologies. This senior engineering role offers the chance to architect and deliver mission-critical software supporting trading and pricing workflows where reliability and production-ready delivery are paramount.
Our talent team is seeking an experienced C# /.NET developer who can take hands-on ownership of technically demanding platform components and help establish engineering excellence from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop and maintain robust.NET software components throughout the complete delivery lifecycle
- Take direct ownership of complex platform components, ensuring they remain resilient, maintainable, scalable and well-documented
- Exercise sound engineering judgement across architecture, design, implementation, testing and operational concerns
- Collaborate with trading, product, architecture and infrastructure teams to align technical solutions with business priorities
- Strengthen engineering standards including test automation, observability, secure coding practices, CI/CD pipelines and release management
- Support live production systems, troubleshoot incidents and enhance reliability and monitoring
What We're Looking For
- Expert-level proficiency in C# and.NET/.NET Core with strong grasp of object-oriented design, SOLID principles and clean architecture
- Substantial experience designing, developing and supporting ASP.NET Core Web APIs and RESTful services in production environments
- Advanced knowledge of multi-threading, asynchronous programming, performance optimisation and distributed system design
- Demonstrated experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and performance tuning
- Practical hands-on experience with Docker and modern deployment approaches
- Proven track record delivering API-driven service-oriented or microservice architectures
- Strong automated testing background spanning unit, integration and behaviour-driven testing with tools such as NUnit, Moq and Cucumber
- Extensive experience with messaging and event-driven architectures using technologies like RabbitMQ, TIBCO, SignalR or similar platforms
- Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems such as Git and TeamCity
- Real-world experience working within Agile delivery teams
- Advanced English required; Spanish is a plus
