Senior Security Compliance Consultant (SOC 2 & GRC Specialist)

Responsibilities

We are representing a fast-scaling cloud technology organization seeking a Senior Security Compliance Consultant to lead their SOC 2 Type II audit readiness initiative. In this strategic role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive gap analyses of existing technical and operational security controls, identifying compliance gaps and building actionable remediation roadmaps
• Author, refine, and operationalize security controls, policies, and procedures aligned with SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria (TSC) and PCI DSS standards
• Lead evidence-gathering workflows using automated GRC tooling (Sprinto), ensuring all technical artifacts, access logs, and policy attestations are validated and audit-ready
• Provide expert advisory on maintaining PCI DSS alignment alongside SOC 2, efficiently mapping overlapping control requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, HR, and IT teams to embed compliance workflows into daily operations
• Serve as the primary liaison during audit preparation, coordinating with external auditors to present evidence, resolve findings, and ensure successful audit cycles

What We're Looking For

Our client needs an elite, hands-on compliance professional with:

• Proven track record leading end-to-end SOC 2 readiness, gap remediation, and audit preparation initiatives for cloud-native or B2B SaaS companies
• Deep familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) frameworks, risk assessment methodologies, and PCI DSS compliance requirements
• Direct, practical experience with automated compliance platforms, specifically Sprinto (or equivalent platforms like Vanta or Drata)
• Exceptional capability to author clear, enforceable security policies and translate regulatory requirements into concrete engineering controls
• Strong stakeholder management skills with a history of driving accountability across distributed engineering, product, and operations teams
• Experience working in modern, cloud-first environments where compliance is treated as an operational advantage
