About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential medical technology manufacturing organization based in Stuttgart that is undergoing significant digital transformation. Our client has been operating successfully for decades and is now modernizing their operations through ERP implementation and process digitalization across all departments.

This is a key role working directly with leadership to drive digital transformation. You'll be responsible for advancing their Odoo implementation, eliminating manual workflows, and building integrated processes from sales and service through production, purchasing, and management reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the Odoo platform in collaboration with functional departments and external service providers
• Analyze existing processes, identify gaps and media breaks, and automate workflows where appropriate
• Lead implementation and optimization of Odoo modules for sales, service/maintenance, purchasing, production, and reporting
• Design KPIs and dashboards for operational and strategic management
• Document processes, configurations, and interfaces in a clear, maintainable way
• Train users and build internal Odoo expertise across the organization
• Coordinate external IT and software service providers to ensure clean collaboration
• Support integration of additional systems and development of the digital infrastructure
• Establish transparent responsibilities, IT documentation, access structures, and pragmatic monitoring
• Serve as the point of contact for complex application questions (not general help desk support)

What We're Looking For

• Experience with Odoo implementation, development, or operations, ideally in a mid-sized company environment
• Understanding of commercial and operational processes, preferably in production, service, or technical B2B settings
• Ability to structure requirements from functional departments and translate them into implementable solutions
• Experience managing external service providers and coordinating IT/digitalization projects
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and network fundamentals
• Prior experience in IT administration, systems engineering, or IT support roles
• Interest in automation, cloud technologies, and modern IT architectures
• Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong desire to take ownership and build something meaningful rather than simply administering existing systems
• German language proficiency required for stakeholder communication
