About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential text-to-speech technology company seeking a Software Engineer, Platform to join their distributed team. This is a fully remote position based in Paris, France.
Our client operates a flat organization where technical excellence and consistent delivery create leadership opportunities. This role is central to their backend infrastructure, supporting millions of users worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust APIs including public and internal services for payment, subscription, authentication, and consumption tracking
- Oversee the full backend API landscape, enhancing and optimizing for performance and maintainability
- Collaborate on B2B solutions, focusing on customization and integration needs for enterprise clients
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with overall product strategy and user experience
- Build and maintain backend services that ensure scalability and reliability
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in backend development with TypeScript/Node.js (required)
- Direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud providers
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency and impact
- Efficiency in both ideation and implementation
- Preferred: Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Preferred: Proficiency in deploying high availability applications on Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative work style
- Passion for building great user experiences in fast-paced environments
