Product Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud platform organization seeking a Product Manager to own a critical product area and drive meaningful outcomes for developer users. In this role, you will:

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and priorities for a significant infrastructure domain, balancing established foundations with emerging opportunities
• Synthesize inputs from customers, support, sales, and engineering into clear problem statements and test underlying assumptions
• Explore solution options with cross-functional teams, weigh trade-offs, and define appropriate scope
• Release features in increments and shorten feedback loops between shipping and learning
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams on infrastructure and systems to deliver reliable, scalable, developer-friendly platform capabilities
• Design features, APIs, documentation, and error messages that serve both human developers and AI agents
• Connect regularly with customers, advocate internally for their needs, and define metrics demonstrating user and business value
• Build alignment across engineering, design, marketing, support, and leadership
• Partner with product marketing early so go-to-market strategy shapes the product, not just the launch

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven product management experience owning a distinct product area, ideally in developer platforms, PaaS, or cloud infrastructure
• Technical depth in building, deploying, and running applications in the cloud, with ability to collaborate on multi-tenant architectures or distributed systems
• Software development background with familiarity in languages such as Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PHP, Go, or Rust
• Hands-on experience or close collaboration with CI/CD workflows, Docker/OCI container technologies, and intuitive API design
• Daily use of modern AI tools for research, drafting, and prototyping workflows, with realistic understanding of current limitations
• Strong perspective on autonomous agent architecture and how agentic workflows are transforming software engineering
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and turning unstructured problems into clear strategies
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with track record of building consensus and uniting teams
• Ability to seek out and evaluate data to guide decisions and track success

Bonus qualifications:

• Enthusiasm for using and testing platform capabilities
• Experience with Kubernetes or building self-service platforms on Kubernetes

Location and eligibility: Remote position open to candidates legally authorized to work in Germany, Canada, Spain, or the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available.
