ERP Manager Microsoft Dynamics NAV/ Business Central (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a growing pharmaceutical and wellness company based in Berlin. Our client is planning a significant ERP transformation, migrating from Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central by 2027. They need an experienced ERP professional who can take ownership of this critical system landscape and bridge the gap between technology and business operations.

This is not a maintenance role. You will shape the future ERP environment, working closely with Finance, Operations, Procurement, Logistics, and E-Commerce teams to ensure reliable processes, data integrity, and seamless system integration.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the current Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 environment
• Lead the planned migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central in partnership with external implementation consultants
• Coordinate requirements gathering, data migration, testing, cutover planning, and go-live preparation
• Develop and optimize ERP-supported financial and accounting processes across all modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets
• Support monthly and annual closing processes as well as group consolidation activities in collaboration with Group Accounting
• Manage ERP integrations with third-party logistics providers, online shops, and marketplaces—covering orders, inventory, tracking, and master data
• Evolve integration architecture using modern APIs and middleware solutions alongside the E-Commerce team
• Ensure data quality and consistency across master data, inventory, and transactional records throughout connected systems
• Oversee external service providers and implementation partners regarding performance, budget, and SLAs
• Document systems and processes while ensuring compliance with relevant data protection and regulatory requirements
• Conduct user training and drive adoption across key user groups

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Several years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong knowledge of Finance modules, particularly General Ledger, AR, AP, and Fixed Assets
• Solid understanding of accounting processes, chart of accounts, closing procedures, and consolidation
• Proven experience with ERP migration or implementation projects
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Fluency in both German and English

Preferred background:

• Degree in Business Information Systems or Business Administration, or commercial training with IT/ERP focus
• SQL and database knowledge
• Experience with APIs, EDI, or middleware platforms
• Background integrating ERP systems with 3PL providers, e-commerce platforms, or marketplaces
• Experience managing external implementation or IT partners
