Responsibilities

We are representing a Japanese restaurant concept in Berlin-Kreuzberg, and we're seeking an experienced Shift Leader to oversee floor operations during service. You will coordinate your team from pre-service briefing through closing, ensuring smooth communication between front-of-house, kitchen, and bar. Your role includes managing guest interactions, making real-time operational decisions during peak periods, and maintaining service standards. You'll provide hands-on leadership when the pace picks up, keeping the team focused and guests comfortable.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in restaurant service with a track record of leading shifts or managing teams
• Strong interpersonal skills with both guests and colleagues, including clear communication in multicultural environments
• Sound judgment and reliability under pressure, with attention to operational details
• Genuine passion for food, beverages, and delivering thoughtful hospitality
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the hospitality schedule
