Licensed Insurance Agent, Remote

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential insurtech client seeking a Licensed Insurance Agent to join their remote sales team. This role focuses on advising customers during the mortgage process on homeowners and personal lines insurance products. Our client provides qualified inbound leads, allowing you to focus on what matters most—educating customers and closing policies.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming calls from customers seeking insurance options during the lending process
• Advise customers on optimal insurance coverage based on their needs and marketplace options
• Make outbound calls to prospective clients to generate interest and complete sales
• Assist customers through the policy purchase process, including verification, payment processing, and documentation review
• Conduct detailed follow-ups via email and phone to ensure customer satisfaction
• Stay current on market trends, carrier products, and industry guidelines
• Attain sales goals while maintaining quality customer service and high satisfaction scores
• Actively participate in team training sessions and process improvement initiatives
• Maintain P&C license and continuing education requirements in good standing

What We're Looking For

• Active Personal Lines or P&C Insurance License (required)
• 1+ years of phone sales experience
• 1+ years of remote work experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills with ability to recommend appropriate coverage options
• Strong multitasking abilities and organizational skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and passion for the insurance industry
• Ability to be coached, accept feedback, and continuously improve
• High moral and ethical integrity
• Commitment to ongoing professional development through certifications, designations, and industry learning
• Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis (visa sponsorship not available)

Pay

Our client offers a competitive hourly base rate between $19.23 and $20.19, plus performance-based monthly bonuses with targets ranging from $4,750 to $9,500 based on policies sold, policies per customer, and close rate.
