International Audio/Video Remote Georgian Interpreter

Overview

We are representing a confidential language services organization seeking qualified Georgian interpreters to join their network of independently contracted professionals. In this remote role, you will handle on-demand audio and video interpretation calls, facilitating communication for Limited English Proficient (LEP) individuals across various settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through web-based platforms
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner and maintain high availability
• Deliver superior customer service to all parties
• Adhere to professional codes of conduct, including maintaining strict confidentiality standards
• Follow all policies, procedures, and industry-specific best practices for professional interpretation

What We're Looking For

• Full fluency in both English and Georgian (required)
• Technology proficiency with web-based platforms, email, and Microsoft Word
• A quiet, secure interpreting space free from outside noise and distractions
• 1+ years of professional interpreting experience (preferred)
• Industry-specific certifications or trainings such as CMI, CCHI, or equivalent (preferred)
• Ability to work independently as a contractor
