About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential AI technology organization seeking an Account Executive to lead enterprise sales across the UK Public Sector. This role offers the chance to drive transformational AI adoption with government agencies and public institutions, managing complex deals from initial prospecting through implementation and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic outbound and qualified inbound opportunities within UK Public Sector accounts
- Manage enterprise sales cycles end-to-end, serving as primary contact for external stakeholders
- Provide hands-on support during Proof of Concept phases, converting successful evaluations into long-term contracts
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, coordinating with engineering, product, and commercial teams
- Cultivate relationships with C-level executives, heads of innovation, and key decision-makers in target organizations
- Navigate customer negotiations alongside legal and implementation specialist teams
- Demonstrate technical product capabilities and articulate value propositions to prospective clients
- Collaborate with technical teams to address customer inquiries throughout pre-sales, deployment, and post-deployment phases
- Gather customer insights to inform product roadmap and strategic priorities
What We're Looking For
- Proven track record in enterprise sales, ideally selling complex technical products through consultative approaches
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field with excellent academics
- Significant work experience within UK Public Sector organizations—this is essential
- Strong technical aptitude to navigate rapidly evolving AI products and guide technical discussions
- Substantial experience within the AI ecosystem or related data/infrastructure fields
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes involving operational and C-level alignment
