Senior Scientist Computational Biology – Get A Job.ai Applications Team

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential spatial biology technology company based in Sweden. Our client is developing innovative solutions for mapping cellular communication at the molecular level in tissue samples. This is a permanent position with remote work options available.

As a recruiting partner, our talent team at Get A Job.ai is seeking an experienced Senior Computational Biology Scientist to join our client's Applications and Fee-for-Service team. You will bridge experimental and computational workflows, transforming complex spatial biology data into actionable insights for customers and internal validation projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and interpret analysis strategies to support application development and pilot studies
• Execute image preprocessing, cell segmentation, and spatial metrics extraction using established computational pipelines
• Compile and visualize analytical results into standardized reports for internal teams and customer delivery
• Collaborate with wet-lab scientists and R&D teams to refine methods, troubleshoot issues, and prototype new analysis metrics
• Ensure data traceability and compliance with organizational data packaging standards
• Take ownership of project design, biological interpretation, and stakeholder communication across cross-functional teams

What We're Looking For

• MSc or PhD in computational biology, bioinformatics, image analysis, spatial omics, or related field; postdoctoral experience is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in Python and spatial single-cell analysis, with demonstrated ability to design, execute, and interpret complex analytical workflows
• Solid understanding of immunology, including immune cell populations, marker panels, and tissue-based immune profiling
• Experience working directly with customers through pilot studies, fee-for-service delivery, or technical support roles
• Strong data presentation skills, both written and oral, with ability to summarize insights for cross-functional audiences
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Experience working across R&D, product, and commercial functions is a plus
