Manager, Implementation (MANTL)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a Manager, Implementation to lead the delivery of complex business and in-branch account opening implementations. This is a strategic role for someone who has worked inside financial institutions and understands the operational reality of multi-channel account onboarding.

You will own the implementation process for business accounts, in-branch configurations, and specialty account types—building repeatable methodologies, developing a high-performing team, and serving as a trusted advisor to bank and credit union clients navigating complex deployments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of business, in-branch, and specialty account type implementations from kickoff through go-live for financial institution clients
• Develop and document scalable implementation methodologies that create consistency and support team growth
• Hire, develop, and lead a team of Implementation Managers and specialists, starting hands-on and building toward a self-sufficient operation
• Maintain clear visibility into project status, risk, and pacing for both internal stakeholders and clients
• Serve as an escalation point for complex implementations, bringing clarity and confidence during critical moments
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Support to unblock deployment issues and advocate for client needs
• Operate as a key member of the implementation leadership team alongside peer managers

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3–5 years of experience in software implementation, project management, or technical delivery, ideally in SaaS or fintech environments
• Direct experience working inside a bank or credit union—you understand financial institution workflows and retail branch operations from the inside
• Hands-on experience with account opening software as a bank employee, implementation consultant, or vendor
• People management experience or demonstrated readiness to step into a leadership role
• Structured, process-oriented approach to building frameworks and runbooks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to set clear expectations for executives and internal teams
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for full-time employment without sponsorship

Preferred:

• Familiarity with DNA, IBS, Symitar, or other major core banking systems
• Experience managing multiple concurrent implementation projects across diverse financial institution types
• Prior experience building or rebuilding an implementation process or team from the ground up
