Professional Services Consultant – Germany

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cybersecurity organization seeking a Professional Services Consultant based in Germany. This is a remote role requiring fluent German language skills. Our client is a global leader in network security solutions, and you'll work directly at customer sites to deliver technical implementation and optimization services.

As part of our talent team at Get A Job.ai, we're looking for an experienced security professional who excels at customer-facing technical delivery. You'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise security infrastructure while building strong relationships with both customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Support customers through design and implementation phases of security infrastructure projects
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including high/low level designs, procedures, test plans, and configuration templates
• Configure, customize, and verify enterprise security solutions based on approved architectural designs
• Test security solutions and verify system behavior meets requirements
• Participate in interoperability and integration testing with third-party systems
• Implement security best practices and industry standards
• Troubleshoot and escalate technical issues appropriately and in a timely manner
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions to client technical staff
• Maintain and develop expertise in next-generation firewall technologies and network security products

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of experience working with LAN/WAN and network security products
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing enterprise firewall solutions or equivalent third-party security platforms
• Strong expertise in complex routing environments with BGP and OSPF protocols
• Demonstrated experience maintaining, deploying, or designing MPLS networks, particularly L3 VPN implementations
• Exposure to MSSP or managed service environments including multi-tenancy, monitoring, reporting, and support operations
• Proficiency in scripting and automation (e.g., Zero Touch Provisioning, orchestration integration, API-driven workflows)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong technical documentation abilities
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments
• Track record of building effective relationships with management, clients, and cross-functional teams
• Customer service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in both English and German languages (required)
• University degree in technical or management discipline, or equivalent extensive professional experience
