Remote Customer Service Representative

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential automotive parts retailer seeking a Remote Customer Service Representative. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about cars and customer care to work from home while supporting enthusiasts nationwide.

The ideal candidate will handle inbound customer inquiries, resolve issues with professionalism, and help customers find solutions to their automotive needs—all from the comfort of their own home office.

Location: Remote (must reside in Florida, Georgia, Ohio, Tennessee, or Texas)

Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - Midnight EST with rotating Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday off, plus every other Saturday 9 AM - 5:30 PM EST. First 7 weeks are paid training scheduled Monday-Friday 12:30 PM - 9 PM EST. Overtime required during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls using company-provided equipment and desktop applications
• Assist customers with shipping inquiries, returns, warranties, damaged or missing parts, refunds, and package tracking
• Provide excellent customer service with an upbeat, professional demeanor
• Troubleshoot customer issues using available tools and resources
• Manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining professionalism with customers and colleagues
• Meet department performance standards and contribute to team productivity goals
• Additional duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Customer service experience preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive field preferred
• ASE Certifications a plus
• Strong computer proficiency with Windows-based systems and desktop applications
• Excellent internet navigation skills
• High-speed cable internet (minimum 25 Mbps plan; DSL not acceptable)
• Automotive knowledge or sincere desire to learn vehicle systems and technical details
• Strong initiative, motivation, and ability to work independently
• Excellent multitasking, time management, and coordination abilities
• Ability to follow instructions and respond positively to leadership direction
• Outstanding communication skills and customer-focused mindset

Pay

Our client offers a starting base rate of $15.75 per hour with potential to earn up to $18.25 per hour based on automotive knowledge and education. Additional benefits include paid time off, employee discounts, 401(k), and more.
