Group Sales Manager- Travel Industry (Massachusetts-REMOTE)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential client in the travel industry seeking a Group Sales Manager for a remote position based in Massachusetts. This is a direct-hire, full-time role focused on building strategic partnerships and driving business growth through affinity and organizational travel programs.

Our client specializes in creating memorable group travel experiences and is expanding their presence through targeted partnership development. This role requires residency in Massachusetts and is open to US Citizens and Green Card Holders only—visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute territory growth strategies focused on affinity and group travel partnerships
• Identify, prospect, and secure new organizational partners including alumni associations, community groups, financial institutions, media companies, senior travel clubs, and special-interest organizations
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with group leaders, decision-makers, and program coordinators
• Conduct presentations and informational meetings for prospective partners and travelers
• Collaborate with partner organizations to effectively market and promote travel programs
• Travel regularly within the territory to meet clients, attend events, and strengthen partnerships (approximately 2–3 nights per week)

What We're Looking For

• Proven track record in business development, outside sales, or relationship-based selling within the travel industry
• Experience selling to affinity groups is highly desirable
• Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently while effectively managing a sales territory
• Comfort speaking to groups and building credibility with diverse stakeholders
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned region, including overnight travel approximately 2–3 nights per week
• Must reside in Massachusetts
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
