Partner Relationship Manager

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization that is seeking a Partner Relationship Manager to join their growing partnerships division. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of channel partners including financial institutions, associations, third-party administrators, and health plans.

As the primary relationship owner for assigned partners, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and strategic liaison between external partners and internal cross-functional teams. This unique position blends technical expertise, project management capabilities, and executive-level relationship building to ensure successful delivery of solutions and long-term partner success.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead point of contact and trusted advisor for all matters related to assigned channel partners
• Provide manager-level authority on financial items including fee concessions, invoicing, and audit controls specific to partners
• Make strategic decisions about product and technical solutions that can be offered to partners and their clients, leveraging corporate guidelines and market demand
• Facilitate engagement activities between partners and internal resources across legal, sales, marketing, implementation, technical, and service departments
• Ensure all departments deliver on solution and service commitments per contractual terms
• Act as project manager for all partner initiatives, providing clear communication on progress and setting expectations with stakeholders
• Coordinate strategic partner management including contract management, negotiation, and product expansion opportunities
• Oversee and monitor partner transactions and interactions, analyzing and reporting key account metrics
• Manage comprehensive business and technical documentation including file specifications, product offerings, service requirements, and marketing materials
• Coordinate support, communication, and training on partner solutions with internal and external resources

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of account management or other relevant relationship management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong, hands-on knowledge of health and welfare benefits
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly at all organizational levels including executive leadership
• Proven track record of maintaining customer accounts through exceptional service and support
• Strong ability to document and troubleshoot technical solutions
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strict attention to detail
• Self-motivated with talent for developing internal and external relationships
• Strong ability to identify customer needs and provide proper rationale for solutions
• Excellent listening, negotiation, project management, analytical, and presentation skills within health benefits or technical industries
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service focus and work ethic
• Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations
