About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential sports lifestyle client based in Munich. We're seeking a Head of Business Operations or Senior Business Operations Manager to join their international team of 85+ professionals. This is a pivotal role where you'll translate revenue targets into operational plans and serve as the central interface for planning, timing, and alignment across revenue and marketing functions.

Responsibilities

• Break down monthly and quarterly D2C targets into weekly and daily targets with specific references to products and promotional campaigns
• Develop target proposals for executive leadership approval
• Maintain the product and promotional calendar, accounting for processes and deadlines
• Ensure lead times across five teams (E-commerce & UX, CRM, Performance Marketing, Brand & Marketing, Tech) and identify and resolve deviations early
• Lead weekly trading reviews and analyze problems while developing solutions with teams
• Support expansion of planning to additional sales channels including specialty retail and e-commerce platforms
• Make independent decisions regarding promotional calendars, discounts, and team prioritization
• Bring five independent teams together along a unified operational plan

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of professional experience in business operations, consulting, chief of staff, commercial, or program management in complex organizational environments
• Commercial numerical understanding and judgment rather than pure reporting of numbers
• Fluency in spoken and written German and English
• Strong organizational talent to identify dependencies early and ensure alignment before gaps become problems
• Critical mindset to challenge the status quo and actively help shape the future
• Structured thinking with foresight
• Excellent communication skills to convince experienced team leads on equal footing while giving them space to apply their technical expertise
• Background in performance marketing, content, or e-commerce technology is an asset but not required
