Product Owner (all genders) – Management Suite Tribe

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential software organization in the endpoint management and IT security space. They are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their core product development tribe in Augsburg, Germany. In this role, you will take ownership of product direction for development squads building enterprise-grade unified endpoint management capabilities, with a primary focus on Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide content and strategic direction for two development squads working on core platform capabilities including client-server communication, compliance management, OS deployment, and update management
• Translate complex technical and functional requirements into clear, prioritized product backlog items with testable acceptance criteria
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on customer value, technical dependencies, effort estimates, and stakeholder input
• Serve as the primary point of contact for development teams on product-related questions, ensuring teams can work in a focused and empowered manner
• Balance ongoing maintenance, quality improvements, and new feature development
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Support, Consulting, customers, and external development partners to gather feedback and requirements
• Coordinate external development teams and projects, ensuring clear requirements and seamless integration into the product roadmap
• Participate in the Product Owner Chapter and work within a leadership trio structure alongside Chapter Lead and Scrum Master
• Leverage AI tools thoughtfully to enhance productivity in feature creation, requirement structuring, and prototype development

What We're Looking For

• Several years of experience as a Product Owner or in a comparable role with product responsibility in agile software development environments
• Proven experience providing content leadership for multiple development teams and coordinating external projects or developers
• Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and backlog management tools (Azure DevOps experience is a plus), along with familiarity with scaled agile frameworks
• Solid understanding of or strong interest in Unified Endpoint Management, Client Lifecycle Management, and Windows-based IT infrastructures
• Ability to quickly grasp technical complexity and translate it into clear, actionable, prioritizable requirements
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities and high quality standards
• Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with comfort working across diverse stakeholder groups
• Collaborative leadership style that creates clarity, fosters transparency, and encourages open dialogue within teams
• Bonus qualifications: IT administration background, software development knowledge, Azure technology stack experience, or familiarity with Linux, macOS, Android, or iOS platforms
