Senior Software Developer (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential ERP solutions provider seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their technical team in Braunschweig. In this role, you will:

• Develop and implement features and extensions in AL for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solution
• Analyze client and market requirements and translate them into sustainable, maintainable software solutions
• Design and implement integrations with third-party solutions and external systems
• Write clean, testable code using unit and integration tests while working with CI/CD pipelines to ensure high software quality
• Collaborate using modern development tools including VS Code, AL, Git, and CI/CD workflows
• Optionally contribute to agile methodologies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Mentor junior developers or apprentices if knowledge sharing interests you

What We're Looking For

• Senior developer mindset with a drive to take ownership and inspire others with your expertise
• IT-related education or training with proven experience in the ERP environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly NAV/Navision) and AL development
• Quality focus where clean code, testing, and CI/CD are standard practice, not buzzwords
• Fluent communication skills in both English and German
• Solution-oriented team player with efficiency and genuine collaborative spirit
