About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential compliance technology organization in their search for an Associate Privacy Consultant to join their team in Munich. Our client operates at the cutting edge of privacy advisory, combining deep GDPR expertise with AI-enabled consulting platforms to deliver pragmatic, scalable solutions for a diverse customer base.

In this role, you'll take ownership of an established portfolio of SMB clients, translating complex data protection requirements into actionable guidance while driving platform adoption and long-term retention. This is a high-visibility position where your privacy expertise directly shapes customer outcomes and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Manage and advise your own customer portfolio on data protection matters, focusing on retention, customer health, and value creation
• Translate GDPR and privacy requirements into clear, pragmatic recommendations that enable confident business decisions
• Drive platform adoption and engagement, helping customers maximize the value of their privacy management technology
• Thoughtfully integrate AI tools into privacy workflows while critically reviewing AI-generated outputs using your subject matter expertise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including privacy specialists, automation experts, and product stakeholders to share insights and improve consulting delivery
• Contribute to the evolution of tech-enabled, scalable privacy consulting methodologies

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of relevant experience in privacy consulting, customer advisory, audits, or handling privacy-related customer requests
• Strong GDPR and data protection knowledge, ideally supported by a legal, business law, or comparable privacy-focused background
• Proven ability to simplify complex privacy requirements into structured, customer-friendly guidance
• Track record of improving efficiency in dynamic environments and identifying opportunities to create additional value
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership mentality and ability to connect customer needs with business outcomes
• Interest in AI tools and automation, paired with critical judgment to evaluate AI-generated privacy content
• Native-level German fluency and strong professional English skills required
