QA Lead

We're hiring a QA Lead to drive quality assurance strategy and execution at intent, a fully remote, 60-person hardware technology company. This remote, full-time B2B contract role reports to our CTO and offers competitive compensation (20,500–28,000 PLN/month net) plus comprehensive benefits.

Position Summary

You'll own testing strategy and quality leadership for our mobile and IoT product portfolio, guiding an experienced QA team while shaping company-wide quality direction. This hands-on leadership role demands both strategic thinking and practical testing expertise: you'll architect approaches for complex hardware-software scenarios (Bluetooth communication, sensor validation, firmware integration), guide team members, and make decisions on tooling and methodology.

Responsibilities

• Design and own comprehensive testing strategies for IoT and mobile products, from signal validation to cloud integration
• Lead and guide the QA team on methodology, automation, and quality practices
• Evaluate and implement modern testing tools, automation frameworks, and CI/CD practices
• Define quality metrics and KPIs; continuously improve testing effectiveness
• Report to the CTO on QA priorities and company-wide quality initiatives
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and clients on testing scope and acceptance criteria
• Oversee all testing dimensions: functional, integration, end-to-end, automated, performance, security, compatibility, and regression
• Integrate AI tools into your daily QA workflow

Requirements

• Proven QA leadership or mentorship experience, particularly in mobile or hardware/IoT testing
• Strong expertise in test strategy, test automation, and CI/CD integration
• Ability to design tests for complex systems: device-firmware communication, sensor pipelines, edge cases
• Comfort owning QA direction and making quality trade-off decisions with incomplete information
• Skill in communicating technical trade-offs and quality priorities to diverse stakeholders
• Practical experience with AI tools; willingness to incorporate them into daily workflows
• Availability for occasional US client calls (up to approximately 20:00 CET, scheduled in advance)

Next Steps
