Working Student, Data & Analytics (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential analytics software organization seeking a working student to support their Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will:

• Support day-to-day analytical work including building reports, maintaining pipelines, and answering business questions
• Build and maintain data ingestion workflows and keep scheduled pipelines running as data sources evolve
• Develop data applications and reports that teams across the organization use for self-service analytics
• Research questions from internal stakeholders and deliver actionable insights
• Improve existing workflows, applications, and reports through performance optimization, cleanup, and documentation
• Own tasks end-to-end: scope requirements, execute independently, and deliver clear handoffs

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled at a university or Hochschule in Berlin with at least 12 months of study remaining
• Based in Berlin and available at least 16 hours per week, including two days on-site in Kreuzberg
• Working knowledge of modern analytics platforms and data science fundamentals
• Solid SQL and database skills
• Strong research abilities: you can find relevant sources, evaluate information, and deliver answers rather than links
• Experience using AI tools to draft data applications and reports, with the ability to explain the outputs
• High degree of independence: you structure your own work, unblock yourself through documentation and research, and know when to ask for help
• Reliability and attention to detail when working on systems others depend on
• Fluent in English

Preferred qualifications:

• Advanced certifications in relevant analytics platforms
• Experience with scheduled workflows and deployments
• Python or JavaScript for custom snippets and visualizations
• German language skills
