Account Executive

Xplor is hiring a full-time Account Executive in Irving, TX, to lead merchant sales and activation efforts. This remote position welcomes passionate sales professionals from across the country.

What This Role Involves

As an Account Executive at Xplor, you'll be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new merchant accounts. This is a relationship-driven position where you'll partner directly with business owners to understand their needs, demonstrate the value of our platform, and guide them through the entire sales process. Your impact will drive revenue growth and expand Xplor's merchant network.

Core Duties

• Prospect and qualify potential merchant clients through targeted outreach
• Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations customized to each prospect's needs
• Negotiate and close sales agreements, driving toward and exceeding quarterly revenue targets
• Manage the complete sales cycle from initial contact through contract execution
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing merchant partners
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding
• Maintain accurate sales activity records and forecasting in our CRM platform

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven sales experience in merchant services, payments, software, or related fields
• Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
• Strong communication, listening, and negotiation skills
• Ability to build trust and close deals with business owners and decision-makers
• Self-driven, competitive mindset with strong work ethic
• Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional sales experience
