Senior Product Manager – Athlete Performance

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential sports technology organization seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product development for athlete performance monitoring solutions. In this London-based role, you will own a product suite that helps sports scientists and coaches capture and analyze data from wearables, optical tracking, and other monitoring systems to reduce injury risk and optimize athlete development.

You will:

• Drive product strategy and vision for human performance products, working cross-functionally to deliver solutions that customers use daily
• Build deep relationships with customers and stakeholders, understanding both user needs and business objectives
• Lead and motivate your product squad, defining success metrics and coordinating across engineering, design, and other functions
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Support teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans
• Balance cost, timeline, and customer benefit while delivering valuable software in an agile environment

This role requires regular in-office collaboration in London, with more days in-office than remote.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 4+ years of product management experience in agile software development environments with a track record of shipping customer-facing products
• Proven ability to work autonomously, make data-driven decisions, and own outcomes
• Strong communication skills—comfortable presenting to stakeholders, writing strategy documents, and building consensus across teams
• Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate discovery, decision-making, and delivery velocity
• Commercial acumen—ability to balance user needs with business goals
• People leadership experience with a passion for team development
• Collaborative mindset with ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
• Resilience and grit to work through setbacks and deliver for customers
• Self-starter who can manage discovery, strategy, and squad coordination independently
• Data-driven approach with judgment about when to take calculated risks

Preferred:

• Sports technology, wearables, or athlete tracking software experience
• Hands-on sports science background with industry connections
• Experience taking "0 to 1" product initiatives from concept to launch
