Senior Principal Solution Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a leading enterprise SaaS organization in their search for a Senior Principal Solution Engineer to join their London-based team. Our client is at the forefront of AI governance and data use governance technology, serving thousands of organizations worldwide.

In this senior technical role, you will lead solution engineering efforts across international markets including Europe, LATAM, APAC, and the Middle East. You'll serve as the critical bridge between product development and sales execution, ensuring technical wins on strategic opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discussions on major sales opportunities, including preparation of demonstration proposals, RFP responses, and custom proof-of-concept evaluations
• Architect integration solutions and advise clients on best practices during technical deep dive sessions
• Support sales teams with client meetings, presentations, and custom integration design options
• Coordinate with internal R&D, technical integrations, and partner teams to maintain expertise on product capabilities and future roadmap
• Contribute to the production of high-quality sales proposals and supporting marketing assets
• Maintain accurate sales cycle documentation within CRM systems

What We're Looking For

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent qualification
• 12+ years of relevant experience in the technology industry, ideally with enterprise cloud-based software companies
• Proven experience selling, configuring, and delivering software demonstrations to enterprise clients
• Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with APIs
• Track record implementing software products or solutions to enterprise organizations
• Solid understanding of web applications, SaaS architecture, cloud computing, and programming fundamentals
• Excellent relationship-building skills across R&D, marketing, sales, and engineering stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to excel in complex, rapidly evolving environments
• Willingness to travel as required by the role
