About This Opportunity

We are representing a well-established building services engineering consultancy in Berlin with over three decades of experience in technical building systems planning. Our client is seeking an experienced TGA Project Leader / Senior Project Engineer to take technical and organizational ownership of demanding projects, with a clear path toward a leadership role within the firm.

This is a permanent position based in Berlin, offering significant professional autonomy and direct collaboration with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage complex building services engineering projects independently from concept through construction supervision
• Take full responsibility for quality, schedules, budgets, and planning progress across all project phases (Lph 1-8)
• Coordinate technical disciplines within building services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection) and manage interfaces
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, architects, project managers, and specialist consultants
• Ensure projects are executed economically while meeting technical and regulatory requirements
• Contribute to establishing technical standards and developing the engineering team

What We're Looking For

• Degree in building services engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of solid experience in building services planning and design
• Proven track record leading projects and project teams independently
• Strong knowledge of German fee regulations (HOAI), cost groups per DIN 276, and construction planning processes in Germany
• Confident presence when engaging with clients and project stakeholders
• Understanding of cost control, scheduling, and efficient project delivery
• Professional German language skills required for client interaction and technical documentation
