Steuerberater und/oder Rechtsanwalt als Gestaltungsberater für Restrukturierung und Unternehmensnachfolge (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential tax and legal advisory firm in southern Germany that is seeking a qualified tax advisor and/or attorney to join their restructuring and succession planning practice. In this role, you will serve as a specialist consultant working across multiple office locations, developing and implementing tailored solutions for complex business transitions.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing corporate reorganizations, restructurings, and succession planning strategies in close collaboration with client-facing partners
• Providing tax and legal counsel on business succession matters, including preparation of necessary contracts and supporting documentation
• Preparing expert opinions, technical analyses, and advisory reports for clients navigating sensitive transition phases
• Acting as a trusted advisor to guide businesses through tax and legal challenges during transformation periods
• Collaborating with colleagues across regional offices to deliver comprehensive solutions focused on transformation tax law and inheritance tax matters

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a collaborative professional with the following qualifications:

• Successfully completed German tax advisor examination (Steuerberaterexamen) and/or second state law examination (zweites juristisches Staatsexamen)
• Ideally several years of professional experience as a tax advisor and/or attorney in advisory and planning matters
• Strong technical knowledge in tax law, business administration, and legal frameworks, with particular focus on transformation tax law (Umwandlungssteuerrecht) and inheritance tax law (Erbschaftsteuerrecht)
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial working style with ability to work independently
• Experience with DATEV and MS Office applications preferred
• Strong communicative skills and enthusiasm for client interaction
• German language fluency required for this position

The position is based in Regensburg, with potential flexibility for placement in Augsburg or Munich depending on your personal and family circumstances.
