We are representing a confidential technology solutions organization based in Darmstadt seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead strategic B2B marketing initiatives. Our client builds custom software solutions and requires a marketing leader who can drive demand generation, establish scalable processes, and deliver measurable pipeline impact.

This is a senior-level position with both strategic oversight and hands-on execution responsibilities. You'll join a small, collaborative marketing team of three and work closely with management, sales, and recruiting stakeholders. This role offers genuine creative latitude to shape campaigns, optimize processes, and build marketing infrastructure from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies that clearly position technical solutions and services in the market
• Plan, manage, and optimize targeted marketing campaigns across the customer journey with focus on demand generation, growth, and pipeline development
• Serve as strategic marketing partner to management, sales, and recruiting teams, connecting positioning, campaigns, and content to qualified leads and measurable results
• Work hands-on with marketing tools including Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to drive optimization
• Evaluate and implement AI-powered marketing automation tools and workflows for content production, campaign setup, lead scoring, and reporting
• Establish scalable processes for campaign planning, reporting, and content production while advancing the marketing function organizationally
• Provide both functional and personnel leadership as the marketing team grows
• Manage short decision cycles and collaborate at eye level within a three-person marketing team environment

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in business administration, marketing, communications, media management, design/graphics, or comparable field
• Several years of senior-level experience in strategic B2B marketing, ideally within IT/software or professional services environments
• Proven expertise in positioning, demand generation, and growth marketing for complex, consultative B2B offerings
• Strong technical proficiency with performance campaign platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn) and ability to leverage AI tools for campaign optimization, content development, and data-driven analysis
• Experience evaluating, configuring, and deploying marketing automation workflows independently, including team enablement
• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong stakeholder management and audience-appropriate communication skills
• Previous team leadership experience is a plus
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and very good English (minimum B2 level) required
• Background marketing technical or complex service offerings that require explanation and education
