Managing Director

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential consulting and leadership development firm based in Berlin. This is a senior commercial leadership role with true Managing Director scope from day one. You'll drive revenue growth, shape strategy, and build partnerships across European markets while working with a lean, ambitious team serving scale-ups, multinationals, and institutions.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue growth and new business development across target markets in consulting and organizational development
• Build and manage strategic alliances that open new markets and client audiences
• Own the tender and RFP pipeline from opportunity identification through delivery
• Lead senior client relationships and ensure delivery excellence across key accounts
• Develop channel and product strategy, identifying and executing growth opportunities
• Partner with the founder on company positioning, product direction, and organizational strategy
• Lead and develop the team while driving internal AI transformation initiatives
• Gradually assume general and administrative functions including finance and operations

What We're Looking For

• Background at a leading agency, consultancy, or professional services firm with proven experience in partnerships, account development, and business development
• Strong commercial instincts with demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and convert strategic opportunities
• Native-level German and fluent English (both required)
• Analytical, fast-moving, and hands-on working style
• Experience leveraging AI tools like Claude to drive business impact
• Entrepreneurial mindset suited to a small team environment (approximately 10 people)
• High energy, collaborative approach, and strong interpersonal skills
• Curiosity and ambition to build something lasting
