Senior Data Analyst (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization in their search for a Senior Data Analyst to join their Marketing Analytics team. This is a permanent position based in Munich with a hybrid work arrangement.

In this role, you will be instrumental in enabling marketing leadership to make evidence-based decisions through your ownership of critical data products and analytics initiatives. You'll work at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and stakeholder management, translating complex data into actionable insights that shape marketing direction.

Responsibilities

• Own and release recurring dashboards with weekly and monthly cadence used directly by senior marketing leadership
• Distill actionable insights from data and present findings to senior stakeholders, contributing to the broader data strategy by defining metrics that drive business value
• Build and maintain dashboards, data models, and business logic within a Snowflake environment
• Execute ad-hoc analyses to address urgent business questions and proactively identify opportunities for new data products and analytical tooling
• Leverage AI tools including coding agents and LLM-based workflows to enhance analytical efficiency and quality, while helping the team adopt these technologies
• Onboard and mentor team members to build technical capabilities and promote continuous learning

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in an analytics role with demonstrated ability to proactively extract insights from data
• Advanced SQL expertise including complex joins, window functions, and query optimization
• Strong statistical knowledge with practical applications in Python
• Solid experience visualizing analytical results, ideally using Streamlit
• Fluency with modern AI tools as part of your regular analytical workflow
• A practical, solutions-oriented approach to complex problems with ability to identify high-impact opportunities
• Capability to shift fluidly between detailed analysis and strategic thinking
• Strong presentation skills and confidence communicating technical insights to non-technical audiences
• Ownership mindset with ability to independently manage complex processes in fast-paced environments with multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in English
