About This Opportunity
We are representing a well-funded Berlin-based startup in the data infrastructure space. Our client is building cutting-edge products that enable real-time data operations at scale, and they need a talented Frontend Engineer to join their founding team. This is a rare opportunity to shape the technical foundation of a product used by developers worldwide.
As one of the first engineering hires, you'll work directly with the CTO and backend engineers to design and implement web applications that solve complex problems in distributed systems and developer tooling.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement web applications using modern frontend technologies
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers and technical leadership on product architecture
- Build intuitive interfaces for developer-facing tools and dashboards
- Establish frontend engineering best practices and patterns for a growing team
- Contribute to technical decisions that will scale with the company
- Work on challenging problems at the intersection of user experience and complex data systems
What We're Looking For
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Familiarity with DevOps practices including Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines like GitHub Actions
- Track record in fast-paced environments, ideally at early-stage startups
- Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to take ownership of technical decisions
- Passion for building tools that developers love to use
