About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential media organization based in Cologne. They are seeking an advertising sales professional to support regional culture and opinion publications. This role offers flexibility in employment structure and the chance to work with established editorial brands.

Candidates must be based in the North Rhine-Westphalia region. The position can start October 1, 2026, or earlier by arrangement.

Responsibilities

• Sell advertising space for established culture and opinion magazines
• Plan, sell, and manage digital advertising campaigns
• Contribute to the conceptual development of advertising products and strategies
• Build and maintain relationships with regional advertisers and partners

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to persuade, inspire, and close sales
• Experience in advertising sales, a commercial qualification, or a university degree
• Strong assertiveness combined with team collaboration skills
• Motivation to find greater purpose in sales work
• Based in or willing to work from Bochum, Cologne-Nippes, or Wuppertal offices
• Age is not a factor – all career stages welcome
