Werkstudent:in – Cloud & DevOps Engineer (Azure)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential sustainability-tech organization seeking a Working Student in Cloud & DevOps Engineering to support their production Azure environment. In this hands-on role, you will:

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment
• Containerize and deploy services using Docker
• Manage and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Support the design and implementation of cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Build automation tools and scripts for cloud operations
• Maintain cloud resource hygiene, including tagging, naming conventions, and documentation
• Support network security, logging, and monitoring for critical services
• Contribute to security and compliance documentation
• Work closely with the engineering team to troubleshoot issues and improve reliability and security of the cloud environment

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Currently enrolled student in Computer Science or a related field
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Git
• Some scripting experience with Python or Bash
• Strong interest in cloud computing, DevOps, automation, and infrastructure
• Self-driven and independent working style with ability to take ownership of problems
• Comfortable using modern AI/LLM tools to research, learn, and solve complex technical problems
• Attention to detail and strong technical writing skills
• Fluent in English

Preferred experience:

• Exposure to a major cloud platform such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with Docker or infrastructure as code, especially Terraform
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Interest in cloud security, compliance, or governance
