Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential mobility-tech client in Hamburg seeking an Operations and Partner Project Manager to maintain comprehensive oversight across multiple concurrent initiatives. You will own the master timeline for marketplace operations, commercial products, integrations, and partnership projects—tracking status, milestones, open decisions, and risks in a single, current, accessible source of truth.

You will proactively drive initiatives forward by actively retrieving status updates rather than waiting for reports. You'll identify cross-functional dependencies early—spanning technology, marketing, operations, and external partners—and escalate with specificity when blockers threaten timelines.

Your scope includes planning and managing product launches, feature releases, and pilot programs. You'll define deliverables, deadlines, and launch-day readiness criteria, then build reusable checklists that improve with each iteration. You'll serve as the interface between the CTO and ongoing projects, understanding enough technical context to assess feasibility during client or partner discussions and formulate the right follow-up questions.

You will establish and maintain project rhythms—cycles, check-ins, reviews—ensuring visible progress against goals set by founders and workstream owners. For cross-project meetings, you'll prepare agendas and materials, document outcomes with assigned owners and dates, and record decisions clearly enough to prevent renegotiation two weeks later.

You will coordinate external relationships with agencies, pilot partners, and service providers, managing deliverables, timelines, and feedback loops. Recurring activities will be standardized through templates and checklists. You'll adopt an AI-first workflow for status reports, meeting protocols, research, and documentation—verifying output quality while delegating synthesis to tools.

What We're Looking For

You bring at least two years of project or program management experience, ideally within a startup, agency, or digital product environment. You have successfully brought at least one multi-stakeholder project with a hard deadline across the finish line without performing the core functional work yourself.

You are comfortable operating close to digital products. Deep technical expertise is not required, but you must understand context well enough to roughly assess what a request entails before committing to it. You think critically about user comprehension, competitive positioning, and small adjustments that could sharpen execution.

You ask questions—multiple times if necessary, even when uncomfortable. You demonstrate courage by voicing concerns when you believe something is wrong, regardless of who is in the room. You deliver on agreed dates or renegotiate timelines proactively, not retroactively. You take initiative without waiting for direction.

Fluent German and strong working English are required, as development teams operate in English. Your mindset and drive matter more than formal credentials.
