Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer*

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology consulting organization in Frankfurt am Main that works with enterprise clients across automotive, transportation, media, and financial services sectors. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Cloud & DevOps Engineer to join their client-facing project teams.

In this role, you will design and implement cloud-native infrastructure solutions, advise on modern platform architectures, and take ownership of continuous delivery pipelines. You'll work directly at client sites on challenging technical initiatives that shape digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Consult on and implement cloud-native architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring solutions like Prometheus
• Design, build, and operate modern IT platforms on public cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP
• Apply Infrastructure as Code principles using tools such as Terraform
• Implement GitOps workflows with tools like ArgoCD
• Own continuous delivery and deployment processes, ensuring adherence to best practices
• Configure and maintain development and runtime environments across test, staging, and production
• Monitor platform health and performance across all environments
• Provide technical leadership within project teams when required
• Bring innovative approaches to client engagements and internal practice development

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Computer Science, IT specialist qualification, or comparable education
• Deep, hands-on experience operating modern virtualized runtime environments including containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm
• Proven expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong understanding of continuous delivery and deployment practices
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and GitOps methodologies
• Customer-focused mindset with comfort taking ownership and responsibility
• Fluent German (minimum C1 level) and strong English (minimum B2 level)
• Willingness to work on-site at client locations in the Frankfurt am Main area
