About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential organization at the heart of Germany's digital health transformation. Our client plays a central role in modernizing healthcare systems, operating at the intersection of digitalization, healthcare delivery, policy, and regulation.

This is a strategic communications leadership role based in Berlin, where you'll shape external messaging for an organization driving meaningful change in a highly regulated, politically sensitive environment. You'll translate complex technical and policy developments into clear narratives that engage diverse stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic external communications from concept through execution across multiple channels
• Develop compelling narratives and content that make complex digital health topics accessible to varied audiences
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, multipliers, and communication networks
• Coordinate and moderate events while supporting executive and leadership communications
• Assess communication materials for compliance with internal guidelines and sensitivity considerations
• Manage external agencies and service providers
• Represent communication priorities to internal and external stakeholders
• Drive innovation in the organization's communications approach

What We're Looking For

• University degree in Communications, Media, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field
• Several years of experience in strategic and operational communications
• Background working in complex, regulated, or politically influenced environments
• Ideally: experience or knowledge in healthcare, digital health, policy, public affairs, or communications agencies
• Track record engaging with diverse stakeholders, preferably including government or institutional actors
• Strong understanding of strategic external communications and sensitivity to delicate messaging situations
• Experience collaborating with executives and management; event moderation experience preferred
• Independent, structured, proactive working style with ability to drive initiatives autonomously
• Confident presence, strong communication skills, and ability to engage people around complex topics
• Excellent German and English written and verbal communication skills
