Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential financial services consultancy seeking a Data Modelling Consultant with insurance expertise. In this role, you will:
- Join the data team to design data solutions for insurance and reinsurance organizations
- Design data models and data transformations as part of redesign and migration projects for insurance applications
- Develop data solutions including data hubs, data lakes, reporting platforms, and data warehouses
- Analyze functional requirements and derive solution approaches and concepts for data initiatives
- Take on functional and project responsibility for client engagements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients
- Lead internal teams and client teams on delivery projects
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in modeling and developing data solutions
- Expertise in data engineering and data analytics
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with one or more standard data tools
- Foundational insurance knowledge in policy administration and claims within one or more lines of business
- Understanding of typical insurance data models and data workflows at insurance carriers
- Experience with data modeling and solution development following DevOps and Agile methodologies
- Background in requirements analysis with functional departments and business stakeholders
- Project and sub-project leadership experience along with strong stakeholder communication skills
- Degree in computer science or comparable qualification
- Ability to work independently as a consultant
- Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
