About This Position

McWane, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Engineer to join our Trussville, AL facility. You'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing compliance programs that meet federal, state, and local regulatory requirements. Working alongside engineering and operations teams, you'll identify compliance gaps, mitigate regulatory risks, and ensure our facilities maintain the highest standards of operational compliance. What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive compliance documentation and standard operating procedures
• Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments across facility operations
• Monitor evolving regulations and update compliance strategies in response
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate compliance into process design
• Investigate potential compliance issues and recommend corrective or preventive actions
• Prepare compliance reports and present findings to leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proven experience in compliance engineering, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance
• Working knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
• Ability to clearly communicate complex compliance concepts to diverse teams
• Experience with compliance management systems or audit processes preferred
