Senior Business Analyst:in (w/m/d) – Bankenregulatorik & Meldewesen

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Senior Business Analyst specializing in banking regulation and regulatory reporting. In this role, you will analyze and design functional processes around supervisory and statistical reporting requirements, helping the organization implement regulatory obligations efficiently and sustainably.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Consulting on and independently managing agile IT projects focused on implementing legal and regulatory requirements in the banking sector
• Gathering, analyzing, and managing requirements while coordinating between business departments and development teams
• Actively supporting the optimization and evolution of IT systems and processes
• Maintaining collaborative partnerships and open communication with stakeholders
• Working at the interface between business and IT to create requirements and guide technical implementation

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in the banking industry, specifically in statistical reporting (including BiSta, AuSta, ZiSta, KreSta)
• Strong methodological and conceptual knowledge in business analysis and agile methodologies
• Proven track record of successfully implementing IT projects addressing regulatory requirements
• Independent, communicative working style with the ability to proactively drive projects forward
• Fluent German language skills (minimum C1 level)
• Deep knowledge of banking regulation that you can actively contribute to project success
