Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential consulting organization seeking a Java Backend Developer to join their team. In this role, you will shape software development projects from technical conception through successful implementation. You'll contribute your expertise in modern Java architectures and frameworks while collaborating closely with project managers, business analysts, and fellow developers.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Independent consulting, design, and implementation of client IT projects
- Technical implementation of business requirements within classical and agile development teams
- Development of modern client-server applications with web frontends and Java backends
- Collaborative partnership and open communication with clients and stakeholders
What We're Looking For
Our client seeks a developer with:
- Ideally three years of experience developing Java Enterprise applications using Spring and Spring Boot
- Enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and mentoring newer developers
- Advanced skills with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MS SQL, or Oracle DB
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with modern development tools including Git, Jenkins, Maven, and SonarQube
- Passion for agile development methodologies: TDD, Clean Code, Continuous Integration, and test automation
- Ideally, interest in DevOps and cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform
- Strong German language skills for client communication
