Werkstudent Data QA & Algorithm Benchmarking (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential geospatial analytics client seeking a working student to strengthen their data quality assurance and algorithm benchmarking operations. In this role, you will:

• Evaluate the correctness of existing test datasets and develop new metrics for algorithm validation
• Identify and integrate challenging edge cases, including complex architectural structures and environmental conditions
• Source new test datasets from potential data providers and automate their integration into existing pipelines
• Execute benchmarking workflows to quantitatively assess both algorithm performance and data quality
• Visualize analysis results and communicate insights that lead to actionable recommendations
• Implement and test improvements to benchmarking pipelines and algorithm parameters

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in an advanced Bachelor's or early Master's program in Computer Science, Geoinformatics, Business Informatics, or related field with focus on Data Science or Statistics
• Valid enrollment certificate (Immatrikulationsnachweis) required
• Strong analytical skills with enthusiasm for in-depth data exploration and statistical analysis
• Interest in working with complex algorithms in a demanding technical domain
• High quality standards and excellent team coordination abilities
• German proficiency at C1 level minimum and English at B2 level minimum
• Availability for 12-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling
• Bonus: Prior experience in architecture or property technology sectors and Python programming skills
