Senior Accountant (m/w/d) (Voll- oder Teilzeit)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization seeking a Senior Accountant to join their finance team in München. In this role, you will take ownership of operational and financial accounting activities across multiple entities within the group. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners, you will help build and develop financial structures while ensuring transparent, reliable, and compliant financial processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations including travel expenses, banking, intercompany transactions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets for one or more group entities
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local accounting standards
• Conducting critical reviews and analytical validation of financial data
• Creating reports for internal and external accounting purposes
• Serving as the main contact for external partners including tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities
• Supporting the preparation of VAT returns, statistical reports, tax refund applications, and annual income tax declarations
• Taking responsibility for the valuation, accounting, and reporting of financial instruments and investments according to HGB and IFRS
• Overseeing consolidation processes within the group
• Acting as the primary contact for IFRS 16 (leasing) matters across the organization

What We're Looking For

• Commercial training or degree with a focus on accounting, taxation, controlling, or similar field
• Relevant professional experience, particularly in accounting and the financial closing process
• Strong knowledge of international accounting standards (IFRS) and HGB (German GAAP)
• Proficiency in Excel and SAP Analysis for Office
• Extensive expertise in IFRS and HGB accounting
• Experience with SAP applications is advantageous
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
• Analytical thinking with the ability to independently develop solutions and tackle new challenges with enthusiasm
