About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential healthcare technology organization based in München. They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full-Stack) to build modern clinical applications that connect directly with hospital systems and shape how medical professionals interact with patient data daily.
This is an on-site role at their Munich headquarters, with flexible working hours and hybrid options within Germany.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop healthcare applications and services using TypeScript and React, focusing on clinical workflows and user-facing features
- Build reusable, independently deployable frontend widgets based on a microfrontend architecture
- Develop and maintain backend services following microservice architecture principles
- Integrate systems with healthcare standards including FHIR, DICOM, and HL7
- Build and maintain shared libraries that provide common application structure and unified design across different applications
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers across teams to deliver user-centered solutions
- Contribute to architectural decisions and support continuous evolution of applications and services
- Stay current with the latest technologies, industry trends, and healthcare regulations
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proficiency in full-stack software development with TypeScript and React in the frontend and Node.js in the backend
- Solid understanding of application architecture (SPA, Microfrontends) and APIs (HTTP, GraphQL)
- Experience building scalable applications
- Experience with modern development practices including CI/CD, Docker, and GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as FHIR, DICOM, or HL7 is a plus
- Experience with Go and/or Rust is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking, structured working style, and collaborative mindset
- Positive attitude with passion for continuous learning and professional growth
- Very good communication skills in English; German is a plus
